INTERSTATE 93 SALEM TO MANCHESTER The proposed expansion of Interstate 93 from Salem to Manchester had one New Hampshire official travelling to the nation's capitol, while a federal official - visiting the the granite state - voiced her opinion on the project. Tom Fahey -- Christine Todd Whitman, Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, said there should be an "expedited process" on the environmental work. |

TYCO INTERNATIONAL Tyco International announced the closing of its Exeter plant this week. 60 people will be without jobs as a result. At the company's Newington facility - Tycom-once there were 1000 there are now 100 workers. And the state securities commission insistyss 9 board members should be removed. |
