There are just over five weeks before the general election. Trish in the U.S. Senate Race, Jeanne Shaheen and John E Sununu seem to be running very different races.

INTERSTATE 93 SALEM TO MANCHESTER
The proposed expansion of Interstate 93 from Salem to Manchester had one New Hampshire official travelling to the nation's capitol, while a federal official - visiting the the granite state - voiced her opinion on the project. Tom Fahey -- Christine Todd Whitman, Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, said there should be an "expedited process" on the environmental work.

TYCO INTERNATIONAL
Tyco International announced the closing of its Exeter plant this week. 60 people will be without jobs as a result. At the company's Newington facility - Tycom-once there were 1000 there are now 100 workers. And the state securities commission insistyss 9 board members should be removed.
